The SZX 7 uses an advanced Galiliean optical system, providing brilliant highly resolved images with easy access controls for comfortable viewing.
Optical resolution using a 1x objective is outstanding and provides a long working distance of 90mm.

A modular approach allows customization the SZX 7 for current and future needs.  To meet your specific image acquisition requirements a range of digital cameras and analysis systems is available. (The 12.5 megapixel Olympus DP 70 is shown above.)

The SZX7, SZ61 and SZ51 are designed to be integrated into process equipment. Olympus offers a range of bonder and prober arms for all common brands.

For the observation of large size specimens a range of universal stands are available . No matter how big the samples are or variation in size sample to sample, Olympus has the right choice suit any requirement.

 Ergonomic low positioned focus handles
Focus adjustment can be made with the hands resting on the work surface using the focusing unit SZ2-FO. By moving the sample stage rather than the zoom body focusing requires minimal force. This facilitates prolonged work on difficult samples without fatigue.
