Metallography has grown increasingly complex as newer, more exotic alloys have been
developed for today’s advanced products, requiring new levels of precision and accuracy
in metallographic imaging systems. At Olympus Industrial Micro-Imaging, we’ve kept
pace with a series of inverted metallographs – from basic microscopes to highly
advanced imaging systems – offering the flexibility to meet the diverse needs of
materials research and inspection applications.
Materials analysis is now easier and more efficient with our wide range of digital
cameras, such as the Olympus DP 71, our 12.5 million pixel resolution
digital camera, and our DISCOVER Series materials analysis software. Now
you can generate reports and customizable workflows for even the most demanding
analysis applications, like grain size analysis, with unheard-of speed and accuracy.
GX71 Primarily intended for research use, the GX71 features
a super-wide field of view, 1-2x built-in zoom function, two built-in camera ports,
providing erect image and a 6-position mirror cube turret for brightfield, darkfield,
DIC, polarized light, and fluorescence observations.
GX51 Designed for a wide variety of applications in research and inspection,
the GX51 has a single lever switchover for brightfield/darkfield observation and
enables the user to make DIC and simple polarized observations. The most popular
model in our GX series because of its versatility, the GX51 accepts a number of
optional features, such as extra camera ports and tilting observation tube.
GX41 Compact, practical design offers all necessary functions for
basic inspection of metallurgical samples, large metal parts, and electronic components
right at the production site. 30W halogen provides superb bright field image. |
