The GX series is the first inverted metallurgical microscope range offered
by Olympus with infinity-corrected optics. These instruments produce excellent
image quality and feature a modular design, enabling users to construct configurations
specific to their needs.
GX71 - Primarily intended for research use, the GX71 features
a super-wide field, zooming, erect image and a mirror cube turret for brightfield,
darkfield, DIC, polarized light, and fluorescence observation.
GX51 - Designed for more basic applications in research and inspection,
the GX51 has a single lever switchover for brightfield/darkfield observation, and
the ability to add many optional features.
