The next generation of digital micro-imaging is here - Olympus’ DP71 digital microscope camera.

Olympus’ most technically advanced microscope camera to date, the DP71 is designed to meet the needs of today’s high-end microscopic digital photography. Our Peltier cooled custom-designed 1/2" CCD is the heart of our system. Using a high quality Bayer filter and  sophisticated pixel shift algorithm results in high resolution images  (12.5MP) of distinct clarity and color fidelity. High speed hardware allows real time image display (1360 x 1024) at 15 fps while  the transfer of  a 4080 x 3072 pixel size image occurs in 3 seconds!  Camera controls are via our basic yet full-bodied Image Manager Software or our comprehensive Discover Essentials image analysis Software and modules.
